Locksmith services in Mission, KS

From our family owned Olathe shop, Chaffee Lok-Pro covers Mission and the streets around it, the counter or your place. We cover the whole of Mission, and you can walk in to our counter on N Ridgeview Rd in Olathe, next to Johnson County Motor Vehicles, or have us come to the door. Residential to automotive to safes, it is one shop behind all of it, we confirm the place is yours, and we pick or bypass before we ever drill.

Our Mission work covers the common jobs and the awkward ones:

• Emergency lockouts house, business or car
• Home locks deadbolts, handles and door hardware
• Commercial work repairs and master key systems
• Car keys cut and programmed
• Rekeys keep the hardware, kill the old key
• Key duplication spares cut at the counter
• Safes combinations, lockouts and repairs
• The lock store hardware you can look at before you buy

A short history of Mission

Mission is built around its main street. It incorporated in 1951 and grew up around the Johnson Drive business district, which is still the heart of the city, and it has stayed a compact, busy inner-ring town of houses and apartments packed close together. That density shapes the work more than in the spread-out suburbs: a Mission call is as often a rental turnover or an apartment rekey as it is a lockout, and the older single-family streets bring the usual run of worn hardware and move-in rekeys. We work all of it, from the Johnson Drive storefronts to the side streets and apartment blocks off them.

Mission ZIP codes we cover

Mission is covered by 66202 along Johnson Drive and the streets either side of it, and by 66205 over toward the Fairway edge.

USPS files both of those under Shawnee Mission, so Mission post often does not say Mission on it. Give us the street and we will find you regardless of what the label says.

Local landmarks in Mission

Mission is small and busy and we cover the whole of it. We are around Broadmoor Park and Streamway Park, over by Waterworks Park and Mohawk Park, and near the Sylvester Powell Junior Community Center and Legacy Park that residents here steer by. Those residential pockets and the apartment blocks among them are where the house and rental calls land, rekeys between tenants, lockouts, worn locks, and the shops and offices along the Johnson Drive district fill out a steady commercial side.

Major streets and districts in Mission

Mission packs a lot into a small grid, and we know it. Johnson Drive is the business spine through the center of town, with Lamar Avenue, Nall Avenue and Roe Avenue carrying the north-south traffic and Foxridge Drive serving the residential streets. Shawnee Mission Parkway and West 55th Street are the east-west routes, and Metcalf Avenue runs the east edge toward Overland Park. We cover the quieter streets and the apartment blocks off all of them, through Countryside and the neighborhoods around the Johnson Drive district.

Tell us whether you are near the Johnson Drive district or one of the apartment blocks off it, and we will tell you how soon we can be there.

Mission in the Kansas City metro

Mission sits in the inner ring near the center of the metro, a short run from Olathe up the parkway. It is hemmed in by Merriam, Fairway and the other close-in suburbs, so it is squarely inside our northeast loop and a quick reach. Johnson Drive storefront or an apartment off a side street, we cover it.
